Kick and Glide

Kick and Glide

CC has finally given into the fact he did not go south for the winter with all the other more intelligent cranes. So break out the skis we did and headed into the frozen wilderness of Teton Canyon, Wyoming. The trail leads into the Jedediah Smith Wilderness of Targhee National Forest at the western throne of the snow capped Tetons of the west, no plastic surgery required. Dodging moose post hole tracks we glide over the glistening crystals covering frozen spring wild flower meadows and through a winter silence that reminds us that there is peace on earth. CC was happy to snuggle with the glove warmers.
