CC is on the road again, this time to the Sierra Mountains, destination was Lake Tahoe. CC managed to keep all of his money despite the 7 casino stops. Others in the party were not so lucky. A brief stop in Virginia City gave us a chance to tour the Boot Hill Cemetery where miners, military men and their families lay in shallow graves. Of course this gave rise to a thirst which we quenched at a nearby saloon. The most prominent structure in the city was the catholic church, St Mary’s of the Mountains. They were selling wine to raise funds for restoration. It was a long drive and CC got a lot of rest.
Skirted by bold forests green
